Lush Love Lettuce Fresh Facemask Review

'This mask is a seaweed gel with exfoliating granules through it.
Ideal for those who want to clear away dead skin and brighten the face, whilst also gently treating it to softening ingredients.
First we make a seaweed gel using agar, then we add honey and almond oil to soften and moisturise the skin. Kaolin and fullers earth deep clean, absorb grease and debris and tighten the skin. Finally there are ground almonds and ground almond shells, so that when you come to wash this off with water, you can work it over your face for a few minutes to exfoliate away dead skin.
Simply fragranced with 100 percent pure French lavender, to balance the skin’s sebum production.
Ground almond shells are a good natural exfoliant. They are rough enough to give a good scrub, but soft enough not to damage the skin. Every skin is different, and you decide how much pressure to use and how long to scrub for.'

Love Lettuce
I've been using this face mask for a month now and i'd probably give it 4/5.
First of all, I really like the fact that it's vegan. Lush never uses animal testing and use mostly natural ingredients. This face mask is made with 100% natural ingredients which means no nasty chemicals on your skin...Perfect!
The smell is nice and refreshing and sort of earthy and lavender-y? It's not strongly perfumed, which is good as you don't want to have an overpowering perfume on your face for 10 minutes!
I think it's really easy to apply but you need to add a good, thick layer to exfoliate your skin and benefit the full effects of the mask.
You leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes but i like to leave mine on more towards ten 'till it dries then when you take it off you can rub the mask around your skin to exfoliate the dead skin.
My skin was definitely left with no grease, less dry skin and reduced spot redness.
The mask also left my face soft, clean and an over all improvement(lol)!
The only bad point about this is that it only lasts for a month. This is because all of the ingredients are fresh and your mask could end up going smelly and fuzzy, bleh!
I have heard of people freezing their masks after their expiry date though, not sure if it works though... So I have just been getting my mum to use it with me so that the fresh-y goodness doesn't go to waste!
Lush also have a deal on where you can collect five pots/tubes, bring them back to the shop and receive a pot of facemask...FREE! Brilliantay! This includes the shower jelly pots, face mask pots, cleanser pots, moisturiser pots, everything! Woop woop for Lush!
